Their research was conducted jointly by the Open University Business School and Cranfield School of Management, and explores the use of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) by organisations during the current turbulent economic conditions. It explores what activities and practices are involved in the approach to PPM, how these practices have been influenced by the current economic conditions, and the benefits organisations have been deriving from its use.
