OCEG 2012 GRC Maturity Survey preliminary findings: 90% integrating GRC say results meet or exceed expectations.

A recent OCEG webinar on preliminary findings from the 2012 GRC Maturity Survey provided a fascinating insight into the state of the GRC activity worldwide.
At first glance, it seems that not much has changed in two years. However, closer examination of the feedback highlights some significant changes.
One message suggests that differences in confidence levels is stark, particularly about:
– consistency of management methods
– ability to gain a clear view of risk, compliance and performance
– confidence in selecting and managing controls
Another message is that about 25% of respondents say their organisations are not engaged in integrating GRC. However, for those that are integrating GRC, 90% of respondents say the results meet or exceed their expectations
