IRM GRC SIG now launched: exploring what GRC really is and how it can be more effectively used across enterprise.

The preliminary findings from the 2012 GRC Maturity Survey confirmed the value of GRC and provided a fascinating insight into the state of the GRC activity worldwide.

25% of respondents participating in this survey say their organisations are not engaged in integrating GRC.  However, for those that are integrating GRC, 90% of respondents say the results meet or exceed their expectations

Given the current relevance and potential value of a GRC-based approach to these critical activities, the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) is now sponsoring this newly formed SIG, whose purpose is to explore what GRC really is and how it can be used more effectively across all areas of an enterprise.
