Opportunity to participate in new GRC implementation barrier research

Some of you may already know me through my work with the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and the recent setting up of the new GRC Special Interest Group (SIG).

However, what some of you may not know is that in parallel with setting up the IRM GRC SIG, I am independently conducting my own research into the barriers to implementing an integrated approach to Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) … and what can be done to address them, in terms of best practice guidance.  This research is connected with the final stages of my MSc Risk Management dissertation that I am completing as part of my University of Portsmouth Business School studies.  I am using my MSc studies to consolidate and develop my already considerable experience and expertise in the areas of Governance, Risk Management and Compliance.

I am therefore very interested in hearing from people out there in the real-world who are willing to share their experiences of implementing GRC.  To assist you in doing so, I have prepared a simple questionnaire for you to complete: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/V8J9MPS

This questionnaire should take no more than ten minutes to complete, and doing so is not compulsory in any way but very much appreciated.  Source data collected from this and any future questionnaires will not be shared with any other organisation, and will be kept confidential.  Once my research study has been completed, I will be pleased to share my findings with you.
