Client wanted project support type service for the IS Business Integration related aspects of a global, single-instance, JD Edwards ERP solution.
What we did
We worked with Client to provide programme/project office support for Global IS Business Integration activities:
- Initially provided project management consultancy support to Global IT Lead;
- Then worked in partnership with CGE&Y team to improve overall project management of Phase 1 project activities;
- Also worked directly for Director of Global Business Applications as well as overall Client Project Director, and became member of Programme Management Office (PMO);
- Provided specific guidance to Client on approach to be followed for addressing cross-functional and operational reporting needs of system, and provided Client IT Lead with management support for these activities.
How we made a difference
We were able to leverage our extensive systems and programme/project organisation experience to complement that of the Client to support successful delivery of programme objectives.
